A large-scale cultural metaverse initiative required historically accurate 3D Saudi traditional costumes to represent regional identity in a virtual environment. The objective was to digitally preserve heritage through high-quality, real-time avatars. Polymator designed multiple male costume sets reflecting distinct regional textiles, embroidery, and accessories. Each asset was optimized for low-poly performance while maintaining material precision and authentic visual integrity within the platform.
The vision was to translate centuries of cultural heritage into interactive, immersive 3D avatars, which are digital representations of individuals, without compromising authenticity or the performance standards required by metaverse platforms.
Cultural projects demand precision. Even minor inaccuracies in garment structure, embroidery patterns, or accessory placement can reduce authenticity and credibility.
Each costume required careful material calibration to simulate silk, wool, leather straps, metallic dagger hilts, and embroidered trims, all within platform constraints.
We followed a research-driven, production-optimized workflow tailored for digital heritage projects.

Each costume was developed with precision in stitching lines, cloth folds, embroidery patterns and ornamental symmetry. Close attention was given to headgear construction and metallic detailing to reflect authenticity in virtual lighting conditions.
The final assets were designed for seamless deployment into immersive environments, enabling users to experience cultural identity in a digital space.
